\"Parliament\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to the Opening of Parliament, and the SABC2 coverage of the President’s State of the Nation Address last night, the best one hour comedy show which the TV channel has ever broadcast! \u00a0It was an entertaining mix of the cellphone signal being blocked in the House, no water provided, regular TV black-outs, ‘scrambled’ audio which made it impossible to hear President Zuma, the Speaker, and other speakers speak, the continuous raising of questions by members of the House, the eviction of the EFF by armed police from the House, and the voluntary walk-out by the DA. \u00a0Comedian Pieter-Dirk Uys Tweeted that for once he wished for loadshedding, but his wish was not granted! No doubt the best parts will go into a video, which will go viral! \u00a0It was not a good evening for our country and its image!<\/p>\n

\"Cape<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to Cape Wine Trails and its ‘blogger’\/Tweeter Louis Ruinart, who childishly tried to stir, by Tweeting a question to ourselves about a defamatory mention about ourselves in a blogpost by Nasty Neil Pendock. \u00a0I called him, and was astounded that he had no clue about defamation on Twitter! \u00a0He does not seem to offer a wine-related service, but joins numerous Twitter conversations relating to wine, mainly retweeting others’ Tweets. His ‘blog’ (with a sum total of two posts!) is another Michael Olivier style copy-and-paste job<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, without acknowledgement to the sources of his information, being copied word-for-word from restaurant websites!<\/p>\n
