* \u00a0 Singapore Airlines is offering a one-day $1 Singapore Stopover Holiday \u00a0package or a one-day Holiday Pass to South African passengers of the airline, traveling to other destinations, to celebrate that country’s 50th anniversary, offered for travel until 15 June. \u00a0Fares have also been decreased until 30 November, at R8900 for flights to Australia and Asia. * \u00a0 The South African wine industry has been criticised for neglecting Africa as a target market<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, allowing France to beat it in sales. \u00a0Two years ago Shoprite revealed that its seven Nigerian stores sell more\u00a0Mo\u00ebt et Chandon than all its South African stores combined. \u00a0Being closer to this market would help reduce transport costs and therefore the prices.<\/p>\n
