\"iFix<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to iFix in the V&A Waterfront, for replacing the screen of my iPhone in less than an hour, despite the pain of paying R1299. \u00a0The paperwork was done professionally by \u00a0friendly Tania. \u00a0I had popped in at the stand \u00a0the day before, and all promises made then were met when the phone was handed in.<\/p>\n

\"iQuick<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to iQuick at the Total garage in Sea Point, clearly a competitor to iFix. \u00a0I called ahead, and was quoted R1300 for my iPhone model, struggling to communicate the model number to the person answering the phone. \u00a0As it was closer to home than iFix, I stopped there to have the phone repaired. \u00a0I was told that it would take 45 minutes to replace the screen (they appeared to have no jobs to work on when I was there). \u00a0I was about to hand over the phone, when the reception person pointed to a sign behind him, that one had to pay by bank transfer or cash, a detail he had forgotten to mention over the phone! \u00a0Quite childishly he begged my indulgence, saying that they are a ‘young business<\/em>‘. \u00a0For exactly that reason they should accept credit card payments. \u00a0I left and went to iFix in the V&A Waterfront!<\/p>\n
