* \u00a0 The first World Congress of Nephrology finishes at the Cape Town International Convention Centre today, the first time that the Congress is held in Africa. \u00a0A total of 3000 kidney specialists have attended the Congress since Friday, reports The New Age<\/strong>. \u00a0Later this year the World Congress of the International Federation of Aesthetic Dentistry and the 46th Union World Conference on Lung Health will be held in Cape Town.<\/p>\n

Winemaker Trevor Strydom found that his wines are rich in antioxidants, not only being healthier, but also sulfite-free, and with reduced tannins. \u00a0Strydom will test applying the rooibos and honeybush wood to beer and cider as well.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 New signage to warn hikers against crime hotspots on Signal Hill, Rhodes Memorial, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the Karbonkelberg hiking trail in Hout Bay is to be erected by the end of the month, says the Table Mountain National Park. \u00a0A 24\/7 ranger on Signal Hill has been called for by Table Mountain Watch, reports the\u00a0Atlantic Sun.<\/strong><\/p>\n
