\"Lindt<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to Lindt Chocolate Studio and its Manager Dimo Simatos, for organising a special delivery of its Lindt turndown chocolates we use for the guest houses. Having popped in at the Studio almost two weeks ago, with all the staff attending a conference on that day other than one young disinterested lady, who told me that they would only receive delivery of the chocolates two days later. \u00a0She did not tell me that I would have to place an order for the chocolates, something I have never had to do before. Calling later in the week, I was told that all 10000 such chocolates had sold out in the two days since delivery. \u00a0The next delivery would only take place in two weeks from that time. \u00a0I told Dimo that I needed the chocolates desperately, having run out due to their supply problem. \u00a0He promised to make a plan, and was true to his word, in that I could fetch the chocolates yesterday, one week earlier than delivery had been promised.<\/p>\n

\"Cape<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to Cape Town International, and is nominated by recent UK visitor to the Western Cape Lisa Harlow, writing about her latest departure from the airport. \u00a0She wrote: ‘Having experienced a long queue at immigration leaving Cape Town 3 months previously, I was hoping for a better experience. However, once again there was a very long queue, which took 45 minutes to wind its way to the desk. There were only 6 out of 14 desks open on a Sunday with 6 full flights heading to Europe and one to Dubai. The temperature was also stifling, again, with no apparent air conditioning. The airport knows all these flights leave in a 2 hour window and should be more prepared’.<\/em><\/p>\n
