The biographer of late singer Brenda Fassie expressed his concern about the whiteness of the audience. Novelist\u00a0Thando Mgqolozana told the attendees that he feels like an ‘anthropological subject’ <\/em>at such events, and would not return to the ‘white colonial festival’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 Nederburg has launched its new Ingenuity Spanish blend, its maiden 2012 vintage a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. \u00a0The Mediterranean grapes come from Nederburg’s Simondium farm, and were planted eleven years ago in response to climate change. From today Main Road, between the Victoria Road and the Princess Circles, will be resurfaced in two stages, until mid-October, at a cost of R10 million! \u00a0The\u00a0roadworks will affect the routes of the MyCiTi Bus.<\/p>\n
