* \u00a0 Award-winning winemaker Gottfried Mocke of Chamonix is to move to Boekenhoutskloof in September, joining Marc Kent and his team, writes Tim James. Assistant winemaker Thinus Neethling will take over from Mocke.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 Tomorrow the Provincial Regulating Entity will consider verified Uber license applications, which have been supported by the City of Cape Town. The City of Cape Town is considering creating a new by-law to include ‘e<\/i>–hailing<\/i>‘, writes Western Cape Premier Helen Zille. \u00a0The National Government is also considering amending section 66 of the National Land Transport Act, to make ‘e-hailing taxis a<\/i> sub<\/i>–section<\/i> of<\/i> metered taxis’.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0Vergelegen winemaker Andre van Rensburg made use of the services of French wine consultant Michel Rolland for the 2014 vintage, and praised how Rolland challenged his own winemaking techniques, having been at Vergelegen for 16 years already. He said that Rolland almost made him feel ‘inferior<\/i>‘, creating blends in only 90 minutes whereas Van Rensburg would take a month, reports The Drinks<\/b> Business<\/b>.<\/p>\n
