\"image\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to Woolworths, for its announcement that it is removing its sweets and chocolates from its checkout queue aisles in all its stores, stating that it reflects its commitment to ‘providing alternatives for children and parents<\/em>‘! The retailer boasted in its media announcement that it removed ‘20 million teaspoons<\/em> (sic)’ of sugar from its 100% juices and nectars, and has reduced the sugar content of its yoghurts by 15%. The items to be removed will be researched amongst customers, and the changes will appear in new stores, as well as in ‘large format stores<\/em>‘, so could take some time to become visible.<\/p>\n

\"image\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to MyCiTi Bus, for regularly parking three buses into one bay at the Camps Bay sport field on Victoria Road. The bus stops were designed to take up three-quarters of the lane, making it impossible to overtake three buses in a non-overtake road. \u00a0We Tweeted this twice in two days, reporting two separate occurrences, without any response from the MyCiTi Bus Tweeters or from City of Cape Town Councillor Brett Herron, also included in the Tweets, reflecting an increasing arrogance we have observed for this service!<\/p>\n
