\"City<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to the City of Cape Town, which regularly leaves\u00a0street lights on during the day in Fresnaye in Cape Town. When we Tweet about it, the City usually has one of two excuses: the street light timer is out of sync due to loadshedding (not an excuse in August as per above), or it prevents copper cable theft,\u00a0despite our suburb not having any reported cases thereof and not happening during the day in a high density suburb. Commendable is that the City switched off the street lights during the day within ten minutes of our Tweet to them earlier this week!<\/p>\n
