\"SA<\/a>South Africa can expect a Tourist boom from Germany this year, with another film about our country to be launched in Germany on 25 February. The documentary about our country is called ‘S\u00fcdafrika: der Kinofilm<\/em>‘ (South Africa : the cinema film). \u00a0It is the second South African movie that has been produced for the German market<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The 95-minute documentary produced by Christian W\u00fcstenberg and Silke Schranz records the journey which
\nthe filmmaking couple undertook throughout our country in a campervan. They traveled 10000 km over a \"SA<\/a>two-month period from Cape Town to Johannesburg, to show their viewers the beautiful scenery of our country (with Lesotho and Swaziland), as well as present it as a travel destination with advice. They stopped and filmed at fifty different locations, including the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Bo-Kaap, Camps Bay, Cape Point, Mzoli’s Meat, Robben Island, Knysna, Johannesburg, Route 62, the Sunshine Coast, Blyde River Canyon, the West Coast, Kruger National Park, Qunu, Ronnie’s Sex Shop, Cape Agulhas, the Lisbon Falls in Mpumalanga, and Transkei.<\/p>\n

\"SA<\/a>The documentary contains a lot of wildlife, including elephants, buck, baboons, lions, leopards, giraffe, zebra, ostriches, rhinos, crocodiles, tortoises, wildebeest, bird life, marine life, sharks, and penguins.\u00a0Townships are included, and the filmmakers walked in the steps of the late Nelson Mandela. Funny is the Zulu lesson in clicking.<\/p>\n

The filmmakers will personally visit the more than 400 cinemas in Germany at which the documentary will be screened, to introduce their film to the audience.<\/p>\n
