Surprising was the closure yesterday of the three-month old Ranoushe Lebanese restaurant in the V&A Waterfront, the shortest restaurant duration we know of! \u00a0We update information about newly opened and closed restaurants continuously.<\/strong><\/p>\n

# \u00a0\u00a0The Orangerie\u00a0has opened at Le Lude<\/a> in Franschhoek<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(photograph)<\/p>\n

# \u00a0\u00a0 Benguela on Main<\/a><\/strong> has opened in Somerset West, with Chef Jean Delport<\/p>\n

# \u00a0 Chef Luke Dale-Roberts has opened\u00a0Naturalis<\/strong>, as an \u2018incubation hub\u2019<\/em>, for lunches, and a venue for occasional dinners and events. (NOTE<\/strong>:<\/span> Naturalis is currently closed for lunches, and will re-open as a Wine Bar in the evenings when it has received its liquor licence).<\/p>\n

# \u00a0\u00a0The Harbour House Group is planning to open two new restaurants on the Muizenberg beachfront: a 160-seater Live Bait <\/strong>(has opened), and Howlin\u2019 Wolf,<\/strong> a burger and beer quick service restaurant<\/p>\n

# \u00a0 Chef Luke Dale-Roberts has opened a pop-up\u00a0Luke Dale-Roberts at The Saxon\u00a0<\/strong>inside five hundred, becoming a permanent restaurant from May<\/a><\/strong><\/span> onwards.<\/p>\n

# \u00a0 Melissa\u2019s<\/strong> is opening in Franschhoek in May, and in Camps Bay later this year.<\/p>\n

# \u00a0 Charango Grill & Bar<\/strong>\u00a0Peruvian restaurant is to become a franchise operation.<\/p>\n

# \u00a0 The<\/strong>\u00a0Flagship<\/strong> in Simonstown, formerly the restaurant of the late Bruce Robinson, is closing on 15 April.<\/p>\n
