\"Isabelo<\/a>Le Quartier Fran\u00e7ais Chef Margot Janse will be celebrating her birthday in May with a star-studded dinner cooked for a special cause close to her heart.<\/p>\n

Chef Margot will be cooking a special dinner on 13 May with Chef Russell Armstrong, now at the recently opened Exclusive Books restaurant in Johannesburg, having formerly worked at three 3-star Michelin restaurants: The Connaught in London under Michel Bourdin, at Le Gavroche in London under Michel Roux Jnr, and at Les Fr\u00e8res Troisgros in Roanne in France.<\/p>\n

Chef Margot herself has been at Le Quartier Fran\u00e7ais for the past 20 years, and with her at the kitchen helm The Tasting Room is the local restaurant that has been in the Eat Out Top 10 Restaurant list most often of all restaurants in our country<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0Similarly it is the local restaurant that has most frequently made the World’s 50 Best Restaurant list.<\/p>\n

Chef Margot started Isabelo in 2009 because of a passionate belief that no school learner should learn on an empty stomach. Today \"Le<\/a>Isabelo daily provides 1\u00a0300 nutritional protein-based meals for the children in the Franschhoek Valley, including muffins, eggs, fruit, milk, and a yoghurt drink. \u00a0‘Being part of change in a community, with the resources that you have, is a privilege. I am happy to be part of Isabelo, something I believe in so dearly<\/em>‘, said Chef Margot.<\/p>\n

Tickets cost R2\u00a0500 each, and only 50 tickets are available for the star-studded 6-course meal, each course paired with a wine to complement the dish.
