Today DJ Ren\u00e9, with Sobs and Luke, perform at La Parada Del Mar in Camps Bay, and it will become a Thursday evening regular date.&nbsp;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It is difficult to explain why I would drive to Constantia every Sunday, rarely having travelled to <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-86028\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chrisvonulmenstein.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_0706.jpg?resize=225%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chrisvonulmenstein.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_0706.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chrisvonulmenstein.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_0706.jpg?w=720&amp;ssl=1 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>the other side of the mountain in the past, being a typical Capetonian. It was a surprise stop at Constantia Nek, to show a friend from London and her friends the amazing transformation of Cape Town&#8217;s oldest restaurant and housing a Harbour House and La Parada, that we experienced DJ Ren\u00e9 on a Sunday afternoon just after the reopening of the building. I knew most of the music, being a loyal <b>Kfm<\/b> listener, and the music was very danceable. One person in our group is an excellent dancer, so I was&nbsp;hooked! What is special is that I have met so many lovely dancers there, both male and female, some only once, and others being regulars like myself. The best of all has been the benefits of dancing non-stop for up to three hours, the best &#8216;gym&#8217; in Cape Town! The full La Parada menu will be available, and drinks can be ordered. He connects with his audience, his passion for music being evident. His music gets a dance floor moving, with his latest pop music, Nu-disko, Latin\/Cuban\/Brazilian style house, as well as French house music. Unique is his mixing of DJing with live drumming and percussion, some of the dancers even getting a turn at the drumming.
