Sunday 19 April 2020, Day 35 of SA Corona Virus, Day 24 of SA Lockdown. 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a beautiful day, #50shadesofgrey, with mist, sun, and welcome rain; for a peaceful day; for the luck of my FitBit charger surviving a small damage caused by a candle; for a lazy afternoon watching a movie in bed; and for feeling healthy and happy. 🙏💙
I wrote a Blogpost this morning about the banning of Takeaway foods supplied by supermarkets. It took the whole morning. An interesting week lying ahead with threatened legal action against the government.
My friend Advocate Johnny Nortje posted a warning about heavy-handed police action in Sea Point on a Facebook page today. See the photograph.
I’m struggling to read Ernest Hemingway’s ‘The Old Man and the Sea’, set in Cojimar outside Havana, which I visited with Alain Barrios Chávez last July. Perhaps too fishing-focused. A Nobel Prize-winning Book.
SA Corona Status: 3158 cases 54 deaths 😷😢
FitBit 11500 steps 8 km 👣

The Corona Virus Lockdown, announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this week to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, and subsequently extended to 30 April, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
