Somerset West now has two top markets: Lourensford Harvest Market and Paardevlei Farmers Market!

imageLast Saturday I was invited to attend the opening of the brand new Paardevlei Farmers Market on the former AECI site, and visited the Lourensford Harvest Market too, which re-opened after a building renovation and winter break. Both markets are in Somerset West, and are owned by two driven, goal-orientated entrepreneurs!

New Cycle Route between Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay to be developed!

imageIn order to stimulate Tourism in the Western Cape, a new Cycling Route between Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay is to be established over a five-year period, Western Cape Minister of Tourism Alan Winde has announced. It will contribute to his goal of attracting 100000 cycle tourists to the province every year.
