The Sweet Service Award  goes to Keyworx on Regent Road in Sea Point, which made a plan to get a new key ring through a sliding gate remote, of which the ringholder had broken off.  To replace the remote, which was originally imported from China, and is now discontinued, the receiver of the motor of the sliding gate would have had to be replaced, as well as all eleven guest remotes, at a considerable cost.  The creative solution cost all of R10, and came with pride and a smile too.

The Sour Service Award  goes to the V&A Waterfront, for spraying a deadly banned poisonous pesticide near patrons outside at Mugg & Bean, the Weekend Argus reported last week.  The customers sitting close by showed different reactions to the poison, including nose bleeds, headaches, muscle aches, vomiting, and muscle spams.
