The Sweet Service Award goes to Queenspark in the V & A Waterfront. Sue Visser writes:” I was humbled after having a number of really bad service incidents this week to experience the service at Queenspark in the Waterfront. The ladies assisting there were all very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the staff member assisting me but she went out of her way to assist running back and forth from the changing room maintaining a great sense of humour with a smile. Thank you ladies. It has been a very difficult week and you made things a lot easier! “
The Sour Service Award goes to the Edgars branches in the V & A Waterfront and Cavendish Square. The nomination comes from Sue Visser: “I have family going overseas and wanted to send Fifa World Cup T-Shirts to various family members and friends on gap years. Of course no one in our family (as probably the average South African male) is a small or medium. Every time I saw a T-Shirt I liked there were no large or extra large T-shirts available unless you wanted to purchase a walking billboard type t-shirt announcing the World Cup! The selection of merchandise is very small and of course not having large and extra large sizes is a disaster! When I raised the issue with the sales assistants i was told that “they” only send a small amount of “those” sizes. This is really not on since Edgars have the rights to the merchandise!’
