Corona Virus: President Ramaphosa announces step-down to Level 3 from 1 June 2020, opening up of the economy, restaurant meal collection, unrestricted exercise, and sale of Alcohol!

 


In a speech starting punctually at 19h00 this evening, President Ramaphosa announced that the country as a whole will step down to Level 3 from 1 June, with concessions made for unrestricted exercise, allowing the sale of alcohol for home consumption under strict conditions, lifting of the curfew, the collection as well as delivery of Restaurant meals, and the opening up of the economy. Corona Virus: Lockdown extended until end April, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Address to the Nation, 9 April 2020.

 

In a moving but firm Address to the Nation, on the eve of the Easter weekend, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the extension of the Corona Virus Lockdown by a further two weeks, until the end of April.
