Cape Town Tourism is asking its members to celebrate the 365-day countdown to the 2010 World Cup, which commences on 11 June next year, at noon today.
A ceremonial football will be kicked off Table Mountain, and Cape Town Tourism asks that its members come dressed LOUD and make noise LOUD, to match its theme ‘Live it! Love it! LOUDER!’ for the 2010 World Cup. CODA will perform its new World Cup song on the top of Table Mountain.
The goal of the day is to make Cape Town the “hippest city to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup”, says the Cape Town Tourism message sent to its members.
