The direct flights between Zürich and Cape Town by Edelweiss Airlines have commenced for the summer season, and will continue twice a week until May next year. Edelweiss has been flying between the two cities for five years.

Edelweiss has improved its cabins, with Business Class offering lie-flat seats and a new in-flight entertainment system. The Economy Max Class seats offer 15cm more legroom. Economy Class has new seats and a new in-flight entertainment system with touch screens.

The airline will add Rio de Janeiro and Calgary to its network next year.
