The Sweet Service Award goes to Le Lude, for its sponsorship of the pianist fee of François du Toit for his two magnificent Beethoven concerts over two evenings in the City Hall, to the joy and pleasure of Cape Town classic music lovers!
The Sour Service Award goes to ABSA in Gardens Centre, and its cashier, who told me to move to another counter (they only had two counters open), after we all had patiently waited for at least half an hour to be served. She said she did not feel like serving me! The Manager had to be called, and then the teller continued with my transaction!
