Not knowing much about the new via. TV channel which was launched on DStv today, it was a surprise to see so many food programmes offered by the Afrikaans-only TV channel 147.
The food programmes are the following:

rated by MasterChef SA Season 1 Finalist Sue-Ann Allen and Chef Jason Whitehead to be a success! He plans to travel up the West Coast with his new food truck. He says that ‘I am not a chef, I am a food enthusiast‘!
Monday 17h30:’Inspirasiekos met SARIE‘, by its Food Editor Herman Lensing. Herman looks for the finest ingredients, and meets the big personalities behind the ingredient suppliers. In the first episode he harvests the Boland heritage food waterblommetjies, and makes a curry dish with it.

and Abigail Bisogno, the sister of wine estate Spice Route owner Charles Back, are looking for a new addition to the Spice Route portfolio of tenants, with a focus on bread and butter.
