Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery shows off best of Cape Town art and design!

opulent-living-concept-store-interior-with-lamps Opulent Living and its owners Barbara Lenhard and Florian Gast have established themselves as creative and dedicated in everything they touch, be it their former Opulent Living print magazine, or the annual ‘Chefs who Share – the ART of Giving’ charity Gala Dinner, which they have organised for the past four years. Now they have opened the colourful Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery on trendy Kloof Street.

In less than a month after signing the lease, Opulent Living engaged bold interior designer Sarah Ord, co-owner of The Stack, to transform the double story interior in a strong emerald green with sapphire blue touches, including big and bold lampshades hanging opulent-living-concept-store-barbara-lenhard over one of the tables. Floors have been painted in a black and white check pattern. The work was completed in time for the opening earlier this week.

The art connections which Barbara and Florian have developed over the past four years through the Chefs who Share charity auction have stood them in good stead, in forming the foundation of their Concept Store. The store sells the following:

Barbara Lenhard owned a store in Germany before moving to Cape Town seven years ago. She said that her new store will showcase art, destinations, and products sourced mainly from the African continent: ‘This new store brings the key ingredients in our brand together in one beautiful, opulent space that celebrates the best of lifestyle, art and travel – simply the finer things in life‘.

Opulent Living will be running its businesses from the new address, including Opulent Living Travel, Opulent Living Cruises, and Opulent Living Experiences.
