Original Mason’s has launched the first range of four Cocktail Spritzers, the first such beverage range in our country.  The cocktail spritzer flavours are all cocktail classics. 

The wine-based Cocktail Spritzer is ready to drink once refrigerated, and is made with real fruit juice and natural flavourants. The alcohol content is 6,5%.

The classic Cocktail Spritzer range was designed and is marketed by a team comprising a chemical engineer, a venture capitalist, and branding experts. Original Mason’s co-founder Sol Bezuidenhout said that flavoured alcoholic beverages is the fastest growing alcoholic beverage category after cider, reflecting the market demand ‘for more premium, natural and fruity tastes’. He described the Original Mason’s as a ‘world-class product made using only the best ingredients’.

The four classic cocktails in 330ml bottles are:

#   Cuban Mojito is infused with lime and mint

#   Grand Cosmo is a blend of fresh cranberry, orange, and lime flavours

#   Moscow Mule gives a generous kick of ginger with lime juice

#   Piña Colada is a tropical mix of coconut and pineapple.

The Original Mason’s range of four classic Cocktail Spritzers is sold at select TOPS at Spar store, and costs R98.
