Sweet Service Award to the City of Cape Town; Sour Service Award goes to Ocean Blue!

The Sweet Service Award goes to the City of Cape Town, whose cleaners are far more visibly active in Camps Bay now, in cleaning out the green bins, and sweeping the pavements, to remove the continuous dirt in my suburb. The strong South-Easter wind, vendors, and inconsiderate beach goers leave litter on the lawns, the beach, and on the pavements.

The Sour Service Award goes to Ocean Blue restaurant in Camps Bay, the restaurant with the dirtiest outside area in terms of dirt. Every day I battle to get the restaurant to clean up the dirt outside on its pavement, doing a walk twice a day. The manager and one of his staff have told me aggressively that the City of Cape Town will clean so that they do not have to do it. I wonder what the back end of their restaurant looks like if this is what the front of it looks like! I am picking up litter in Camps Bay, to prevent it from blowing into the ocean, and into the stream near the Tidal Pool.
