The Sweet Service Award goes to Vodacom in the V&A Waterfront and its consultant Chad Thomas, who assisted me in doing a phone upgrade. He also checked my contract, and found a more affordable package that gives me more data and fewer calls at a lower rate than I have been paying to date.
The Sour Service Award goes to GrandWest Arena, and its security staff, who did not stop inebriated UB40 concertgoers from entering the venue. I paid a lot of money to sit in the second row. A very drunk concertgoer decided that it was great fun to block my photographing and videoing of the concert, by standing in front of my seat at the end of the aisle. He was warned numerous times by the security staff, but they never did anything to evict him.
