Yesterday was the beginning of Woman’s Month. Last year we saluted the Cape’s Top 10 Restaurant owners. This year we want to salute the Cape’s Top 10 Women Chefs.
We have teamed up with award-winning Adhara Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil again, each Top 10 Chef receiving a bottle of Adhara EVOO. Adhara producer Venishree Mayer is a leader herself, having been nominated for the Woman of Stature Award, in the Women in Agriculture category.
Please nominate your favourite Woman Chef, with the name of the restaurant at which she works, and tell us what makes her so special. Send us a photograph of her too. The Top 10 Woman’s Chefs will be announced on Women’s Day 9 August. Entries can be sent to chrisvonulmenstein@gmail.com please. Entries close on 7 August.
