October has seen the opening of new restaurants Faber at Avondale, The Vine Bistro at Glenelly, The Grand Beach Café, Tiger’s Milk Bryanston, Chefs, The Station on Bree, and more, as well as the re-opening of The Test Kitchen, with a number of November openings (including two restaurants by Chef Bertus Basson) imminent.

The Eat Out Top 20 Restaurant List will be announced shortly, and as has become tradition, we have prepared our prediction for what we believe the top twenty restaurants in our country to be. We also announce the judges for the 2016 Eat Out Top 10. 
After a number of promised opening dates, delayed due to construction hiccups, Chef David Higgs finally opens his Marble restaurant in Rosebank in Johannesburg today. 
The seven chefs teams and their sommeliers for Chefs who Share – the ART of Giving 2016 have been announced, for the Gala Dinner which will take place in the Johannesburg City Hall on Saturday 24 September.
