The Hermanus FynArts Festival has offered a multitude of talks, workshops, and tastings over the past ten days. One of these was a talk on Friday by Anthony Hamilton Russell, owner of Hamilton Russell Vineyards, about the history of the Hemel en Aarde wine region. UberEats launches in Cape Town, restaurant meals delivered faster!
On Thursday afternoon I attended the launch of UberEATS in a private home in Willesden Road in Camps Bay, with the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. A.A. Gill passed away in London on Saturday, by far the best known and revered restaurant critic in the world. Tomorrow the Eat Out Awards will be held, the culinary highlight of the year. For the second year running the event will be held as a lunch at GrandWest, but tomorrow the Awards event will be held in the show auditorium.
