Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for another beautiful sunny day, the spirits much better today, especially after a call from Stuart Bailey; for a hardworking day, cross-eyed from all the writing; for a contractor coming to quote on an extension of the handrail on my side of the building, having begged Sandak-Lewin for over a year to get it done đŸ˜±; for a lunchtime walk to Bakoven, managing to catch a fabulous wave; for a wonderful late afternoon walk, bumping into Sherryl living nearby, sharing experiences of apartment party noise; for a beautiful sunset this evening; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Western Cape launches Cruise Cape Town! More than 80 Cruise liners headed for Cape Town in 2021!

 

Wesgro is actively working on attracting cruise liners to Cape Town, and has proudly announced the booked arrival of 83 cruise liners before the end of this year. The local cruise season is set to begin in October.

Last year it launched Cruise Cape Town, a collaboration between a number of role players such as Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDAT); the City of Cape Town (CoCT); V&A Waterfront; Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA); the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA); and Wesgro.
