Six days after South Africa’s borders reopened for tourism, confusion reigns about various aspects of the new regulations in regard to how they apply to Leisure and Business Travellers, the insurance required in particular, whether the Covid testing applies to airline crew, and whether Visas are required for visitors to our country! The Sweet Service Award goes to the City of Cape Town, and its Water Department, which called me at 21h00 on the same day on which I saw a water leak on Victoria Road in Camps Bay and reported it to Councillor Nicola Jowell. The call was to determine the exact location of the leak. Two days later I walked past the spot again, and was happy to see that the leak had been fixed.
