#grateful for a lovely rainy start to the day; warming up to become a humid day, but cold now and more rain on the way tomorrow; for zero Loadshedding today after a heavy shedding week šŸ˜±; for a working morning; for my Dinkel poppyseed roll stop; for enough time to have my favorite Appeltaart at Labotessa and seeing owner Johann du Plessis there; for a quick shop at Fideliā€™s, seeing the newly engaged owner Chef Judi Fourie there; for a good Status meeting for Anatoli and Utopia, doing so well ; so happy that clients of mine loved the JAN experience in Nice last night šŸ™ for a refreshing walk to the Tidal Pool; and for being happy, healthy, and free. šŸ™šŸ’™ Continue reading →

#grateful for a sunny day at 18C, but chilly now as clouds roll in for rain later tonight, with very cold winter weather awaiting us from Thursday onwards; for an early Manager meeting at Zest, the first which I have attended, followed by a Marketing meeting with Chef Pavel, and then greeting two sets of Camps Bay guests in the restaurant; for having the slow tyre leak fixed at Super Quick in Sea Point, taking 5 minutes and costing only R100; for donating blood, receiving a cooler bag which doubles up as a seat too, it is so strong, and a pair of socks, which Iā€™ll donate to a car guard; for a working Continue reading →

The Sweet Service Award goes to Pilcrow & Cleaver and Fideliā€™s, both owned by Chef Judi Fourie, for the kind marketing of her restaurant and Deli on Parliament Street, at the CTICC and in her restaurant, by handing out discount vouchers to those persons who are vaccinated, a win-win for both. #grateful for a wonderful organized day, starting early in the morning, getting ready for two client meetings; for it pouring early this morning ā˜”ļø but having cleared up when I left for town; for my Dinkel rolls waiting for me; for presenting Top 10 Woman Chef Judi Fourie of Pilcrow & Cleaver her prize of a bottle of Adhara Extra Virgin olive oil, and receiving discount vouchers for her Fideliā€™s and Pilcrow & Cleaver to hand out to vaccinated persons as a thank you; for a quick spoil at Labotessa CafĆ© for my favorite apple tart; for my haircut by Isabella Page Morgan after I ran out of time last week ā¤ļø; for a pop in at Woolies at St Johnā€™s Piazza in Sea Point, succumbing to some early summer Continue reading →
