Chef Peter Tempelhoff opens first own restaurant FYN in Speakers’ Corner in Cape Town city centre!
In an interesting move not seen before, La Colombe announced that its Restaurant Manager Jennifer Hugé would be leaving, after 14 years, to join a new city centre restaurant, but without providing details. Yesterday, the details were revealed, Hugé joining forces with Chef Ashley Moss in Chef Peter Tempelhoff’s new FYN Restaurant. The La Colombe restaurant group has no link to the new restaurant.
CNN sings Cape Town’s praises, advises 30 Best things to do in the city!
CNN describes Cape Town as one of the world’s most beautiful cities, its ocean and mountain views being what makes it particularly special. It writes that the city experiences four seasons in a day, and that allows its locals and visitors to experience a variety of things to do. Walking up Lion’s Head: a personal challenge, and walking in my Camino shoes!
On Easter Sunday I was challenged to walk (well more like scrambled, slip and slide, pulled, supported….) up Lion’s Head, the reward being a beautiful pair of blue eyes waiting for me at the top.
