West Coast offers game viewing as well as San cultural heritage experience!

 

The West Coast is regarded by many Capetonians and locals as a road that links to a few coastal towns and mainly leads one to Namibia. In Spring it is well known as a flower bed.

However, it offers tourists two special places to visit, just one hour out of Cape Town, and before you reach Langebaan: the !Kwha Ttu San Culture and Heritage Centre as well as the Buffelsfontein Game Reserve. European Union follows the lead of Germany and France in dropping its Travel Bans against South Africa and its neighbours!

 

More good news for South Africa is that the 27 countries of the European Union will be following Germany and France in lifting their travel bans against South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique,  Botswana, and Eswatini, according to a report today by BusinessTech.

USA to remove Southern African countries from its Travel Ban List on 31 December 2021!

 

President Biden announced earlier this week by proclamation that the USA will lift its ban on travel into the USA from South Africa and its neighbouring countries from tomorrow, reports News24.

South Africa and its neighbours were banned by numerous countries after its scientists shared the detection of the new Omicron variant at the end of November.

The USA follows the UK, Australia, and a handful of other countries which have lifted their travel bans instituted against Southern Africa almost world-wide at the end of November.  The European Union and Germany in particular are still holding back on lifting their travel bans.

Black Friday for SA tourism industry as UK puts SA back onto Red List, followed by European Union!

 

The UK has reacted swiftly t0 the news of the discovery of a new Covid variant in our country earlier this week, and has banned all flights from South Africa, as well as those of its neighbours Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini (the former Swaziland) reports The Guardian.  The ban starts at midday today!
