Camps Bay Beach on Travel & Leisure 2021 World’s Most Beautiful Beaches List!

Yesterday Getaway magazine shared that Camps Bay Beach is one of the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches, according to American Travel publication Travel & Leisure.

The Travel publication described our Beach as follows: ‘Truly beautiful beaches tend to be remote-island destinations far from the urban buzz. A big exception is Camps Bay Beach, right in vibrant Cape Town’.

Camps Bay Beach rubs shoulders with 24 other beaches around the world, including Elafonissi Beach in Greece, Baia do Sancho in Brazil, Le Morne in Mauritius, Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, Clearwater Beach in Florida, Sotavento Beach in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands,  Hanele Bay in Kauai in Hawaii, Nungwi Beach in Tanzania, Anse Source D’Agent, La Digue Island in the Seychelles, Shark Creek Beach in the Bahamas, Whitehaven Beach on Whitsundays Island in Australia, Praia de Marina in The Algarve in  Portugal, and Scala dei Turchi in Sicily.

I’m very proud of my home suburb, and that I have made it my missi9n to keep the Camps Bay Beachfront clean and free of litter!

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for starting our day with the first sign of the sun in two days, and the luck of being able to do our walking sections throughout the day without any rain; for a lovely breakfast at Dunstone Restaurant; for being shuttled to VillaMar at the other end of Wellington, for an informative coffee tasting; for a winetasting at Doolhof Wines, at the end of Bovlei; for a sunny walk alongside the Kromme River to Welvanpas Family Vineyards for lunch and a winetasting; for a walk to close to Bosman Family Vineyards, a wine producer, and the largest producer of ‘stokkies’ (new vines created by grafting onto Rootstock) in Africa; for being shuttled back to our car at Diemersfontein, picking up our purchases made at our different stops in the past two days; for safely returning to Cape Town; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
