Auto & General Sweet Service Award! Poetry Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Auto & General, and its Claims Consultant Heidi, who dealt with my claim in a most friendly and efficient manner, Heidi telling me that they don’t believe in paperwork. The details were taken down in less than half an hour, hence the service exceeding the defined time period. Trenery Sweet Service and ABSA Sour Service Awards!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Trenery in the V&A Waterfront, and its assistant Mariska de Klerk, who assisted me in finding shirts which were on sale in the right size, and for keeping them for me overnight even though the sale ones were not supposed to be kept for customers. I had explained to Mariska that due to my handbag and its content having been stolen, I would only receive a replacement credit card the following day. I have enjoyed subsequent good service from Mariska.

Woolworths Sweet Service and Fisheries Minister Joemat-Pettersson Sour Service Awards!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Woolworths, and its new Manager Cliford Sibanda, who has just joined the Da Luz branch on Regent Road in Sea Point as a manager, having relocated from Johannesburg.  He came to my assistance when the staff member at the till was not responding to my questions, saying that she was ill. He apologised profusely, and was keen to hear what the problems are at the branch, having just started there.  He organised for some cheese puffs to be prepared, a favourite, which are always out of stock, and for a store assistant to push my trolley, demonstrating beyond expectation how important customer satisfaction is to him and the brand Woolworths!
