The Sweet Service Award goes to Discovery Insure, for its amazing efficiency and generosity in sending an assessor to my house in Hermanus, which was badly damaged in the wind storm on 13 July, damaging two sliding doors as well as a bathroom window, at a repair cost of just over R40000. The assessor has been appointed by Discovery Insure to do the repair work. The invoice from a Hermanus builder to temporarily board up the damaged sections of the building was accepted by the company too, and is due to be paid out.
