City of Cape Town reduces water restrictions from 1 October 2018!

The best news this year, other than the fantastic winter rain our city has received and still appears to receive this month, is that the City of Cape Town is to reduce the water restrictions from Level 6B to Level 5.

Not only will the restrictions regarding the amount of water usage be lightened, but the cost will be reduced as well:

0 – 6 kL: down from R28,90 to R21,19 per kL

6 – 20,5 kL down from R46,00 to R34, 43 per kL

19 – 35 kL down from R120,26 to R52,39 per kL

Above 35 kL down from R1000 to R300 per kL.
