Tuesday 15 February 2022, Day 138 of Level 1 😷
Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for a long 7 hour sleep, and 1 hour of it a deep sleep 🙏; for it being a cooler day than yesterday, at 28C with a slight cool breeze; for a very active day at EbbTide, another day of Fort Knoxing our building with security cameras, with trees on the properties on either side of our building cut down by gardener Terry Chicken, it looking far tidier and brighter on my side of the building, but a combined cacophony of noise whilst I was trying to work; for a Bakoven walk; for Terry trimming two further trees on my walking route, very generous of him 🙏 ; for a walk to the Tidal Pool, with some mist, taking photographs; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙
My Blogpost today was about the Film industry picking up again, with numerous international film productions to be filmed here, including one with Tom Cruise 😱.
Cape Town Film industry recovery excellent news, Mission Impossible 8 to be shot in the Mother City!
We chose the cheapest quote for the camera security system installation at EbbTide. Late this afternoon, when the installation was meant to have been completed, we were told that the installer did not realize that our existing 4 cameras are not compatible with a new system that allows us to watch the action in our garage and building via our cellphones! The 4 new cameras are to cost R2400 extra, no longer making it the lowest quote! I’m not impressed, having been annoyed about the way in which the installation quoting was handled. 😡 I have found cheaper cameras.

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
