Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a sunny but cool day at 18C; for a long sleep; for a busy morning writing and Social Media posting about the Wellington Wine Walk; for a Camps Bay walk, stopped by two Sea Point ladies who were astounded by my pearls I was wearing and not being scared to do so 😱; for being entertained by a kite surfer in the Camps Bay Tidal Pool; for a walk to Bakoven with lots of litter; for a busy week coming up; for another SwitchBitch book sale 🙏; and for being happy and healthy.

It was sad to receive the news of the closure in thirteen days time of Restaurant at Waterkloof in Somerset West, the third best Restaurant in our country, a Corona Lockdown casualty. 😢😢

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
