Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for lovely rain overnight, and at the moment ☔️☔️; for tea at the home of Gary Peterson, escaping Loadshedding at home, to meet his bubbly school friend Michele Bovet, an one hour speed date, all three of us dressed in pink, so Gary did a Selfie; for my first visit to my new client Gibson’s Gourmet Burgers & Ribs in the Waterfront, in a new location I had not been to before, meeting with Manager Caronne Witham, who taught me so much about the amazing Gibson’s Burger, Steak, Rib, and Shakes product range, there being more than 207 Handspun Shakes for example, breaking a Guiness World Record, and 35 Burger options; for a chat with Head Chef Sherwin Rayners whom I first met almost two years ago; for photographing a Slider set of three mini burgers, plain, with cheese, and with guacamole, and a Peppermint Crisp Shake, a previous chocolate addiction, and delicious as a milkshake, all of which I took home when I finished the photographs, having to ’eat’ via my photographs in future; for the wonderful view onto the Cape Wheel, Table Mountain with a huge Table Cloth, and a part of the Waterfront from Gibson’s; for a Bakoven walk as soon as the rain stops; for my German tourist friends arriving safely back at their home near Berlin; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
