Monday 30 November 2020, Day 71 of Level 1, Day 250 of Lockdown 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a relaxed catch-up day after a busy weekend, starting with a long 8 hour plus sleep🙏; for a writing day, with a Camps Bay walk in between, with quite a bit of litter to pick up, as my Community Cleaners don’t work on Mondays and Tuesdays; for it being a bit cooler at 19C, making it pleasant to walk, but somewhat humid, with a few drops of rain; for a sociable week lying ahead; for dancing to Kfm; for the excitement of receiving my first German Tourist Guiding enquiry in 9 months, holding thumbs 🤞; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
I’m quite sad that a group of UCT students have left our building, who were super duper behaved as far as noise goes when they stayed here for five months until yesterday, with one noisy night exception.
Today I wrote about the new beyond restaurant which Chef Peter Tempelhoff is opening at Buitenverwachting in Constantia.
Chef Peter Tempelhoff goes beyond Fyn to launch beyond Restaurant at Buitenverwachting!
It’s Full Moon today, with no tension or bad vibes. 😊

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
