Monday 7 June 2021, Day 8 of Adjusted Level 2 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a perfect 7 hour continuous sleep, it being quiet in the next door apartment overnight and the renters checking out this morning 🙏; for a speed working morning, so that I could attend a meeting in Sea Point, meeting the owner of the hotel, so that I could get to know him better; for a quick shop at Kleinsky’s; for discovering a massive film shoot for Fear Factor India at Maiden’s Cove, having to stop and photograph the action, even though we were told not to 😱; for a working afternoon, finishing just in time to meet Vivian Warby at the Tidal Pool, she bravely having walked there from her home; for a beautiful sunset; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙

My Blogpost was about the new POPI Act, which commences in 1 July, a law which every business and even restaurants need to comply with to ensure the privacy of any information held by that business of clients, suppliers, and employees.

POPI Act affects every business, including restaurants, every website owner: deadline 30 June!

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
