Grateful for a fabulous year 2022 ❤️:

*. Getting my cataracts removed and hence able to pass my driver’s license renewal

*. Getting my passport renewed, after a very long wait, having the freedom to travel this year

*. For buying a house, my passport to freedom from sharing a property with AirBnB renters, despite the noise disturbances having reduced vastly in the past few months and the first Trustee having sold her apartment…. two more to go… And for asserting myself more than ever before.

*. For the freedom of no longer working with two abusive and disrespectful restaurant clients, having the self love to resign from them.

*. For the amazing growth in my Tourist Guiding business, designing more of my own tours and doing full day and full week tours for the first time. The more tours I do, the more I practice my German.

*. For the fabulous friendship of very special friends

*. For spoiling myself with dinner at Restaurant JAN in Franschhoek, and sharing this experience with Gary

*. For hundreds of fabulous sunsets seen and photographed

*. For the recognition of my photographs by Daily Maverick, regularly making their Top 20 Pics of the Week, and one Pic of the Day this year.

*. For fabulous service from Dinkel, Hartlief, Giovanni’s, and Woolies Camps Bay, my regular shopping spots. And from Mike at BP President. And from Tony at Labotessa Café & Terrace.

*. For the wonderful service and friendship from Henry, our Ebbtide Building Manager, and the love he shows my 😻😻.

*. For my babies Minsky and Earl Grey, making it such a joy to come home to. 😻😻

*. For loving living in Camps Bay and Cape Town, the most beautiful city in the world.

*. For my UPS, which makes Loadshedding a breeze

*. For proudly doing my best, with Joy and Gift, to keep Camps Bay Clean.

*. For being part of such a fabulous Facebook family, always lovely to meet each other face to face.

* For the long-standing support of my WhaleTales Blog readers.
