In celebration of the 15th anniversary of StreetSmart, an organisation that raises funds for the upliftment of street children, it is going up Table Mountain on 27 February 2020 to host a High Tea, the highest High Tea served in Cape Town on that day!

Welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, and served sweet and savoury eats, with a view over all of Cape Town from our City’s most popular tourism icon, guests will be delighted that the R500 cost (which includes the cost of a cable car ticket) will be wholly contributed to the street children charities which StreetSmart supports.

StreetSmart SA is an organisation dedicated towards helping vulnerable children rebuild their lives from public donations by partnering with a network of restaurants, accommodation establishments and wine tasting venues in the Western Cape, Garden Route and Gauteng. Funds are raised by voluntary R5 donations added to patrons’ bills. Every year StreetSmart disburses over R1 million to organisations working with vulnerable children’, says the StreetSmart media statement about the event.

Ultimately the aim of StreetSmart is that its contributions to the chosen charities will educate and train young persons, and reunite them with their families.

The High Tea starts at 14h00. Book tickets at R500 per person. Email Chad Hamilton comms@streetsmartsa.co.za Tel: 021-447 3227.  www.streetsmartsa.org.
