The Sweet Service Award goes to Nonna Lina and its manager Juandre for making me a dry cappuccino twenty minutes before the restaurant officially opened its doors for service. I was killing time before the start of a movie at the nearby Labia Theatre. I was however surprised at the R6 extra I was charged for the double shot, something I have never seen on a coffee bill before!
The Sour Service Award goes to Woolworths in Hout Bay, for their poor service last Sunday, being understaffed. When I addressed the staff shortage at the tills, the manager just ignored my feedback. One would think that the Woolworths branch would be busier on weekend days, and therefore would be better staffed.
