The Sweet Service Award goes to Avanzate beauty salon, in the Old Cape Quarter in De Waterkant, for its invitation to a complimentary massage, a welcome treat at the end of a short and busy week. The therapist was very quiet-spoken but had strong massage hands, highlighting that I had stress points and knots which I had not acknowledged, not having been to a massage in years. The very friendly receptionist offered me a glass of water, and explained their services to me, which include Pedicures and Manicures, Facials, Waxing, and more.
The Sour Service Award goes to Standard Bank Sea Point, for a 90 minute wait at the end of February, when I needed a twelve month print out of my Money Market account, the bank ATM only offering a six months print out, costing me precious working time in sitting at the bank on a Friday afternoon! Some bank clients sat at staff desks for close to the 90 minutes, influencing the waiting time of all other clients!
