The Sweet Service Award goes to Dinkel Bakery and its staff member Cain, for his continuous good service when he keeps poppyseed rolls for me every week, and for speaking to me in German.
The Sour Service Award goes to EbbTide Apartment 201 and its owner Sacha Jack, for a 5-day noise disturbance by her partying and screeching clients renting her apartment since last weekend. Daily emails and What’s Apps were sent to her of complaint, only receiving one reply three days later, stating that she had told them to keep quiet, clearly unsuccessfully! She and the other two apartment owners in our building are only about the B&B income, and do not care about my rights as a permanent owner living in the building. At no stage has Jack apologised. One night it got so bad that I had to call the Camps Bay CSI security service, when 8 – 10 partygoers arrived in four cars during Curfew.
