The Sweet Service Award goes to The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay, and its GM Reinard Gerber, for the offer to provide a daily food box as well as 200 garbage bags per week to my Camps Bay Clean initiative, in which we clean up the Camps Bay Promenade on weekdays and public holidays.
The Sour Service Award goes to ESKOM, which promised the citizens of our country in December via our President Cyril Ramaphosa that no loadshedding would take place until 13 January 2020….. but even his words had no power (pardon the pun) in that it recommenced a week ahead of this date, and has been experienced daily in the past week, The power utility is suggesting today that Loadshedding be set on Schedule 2 constantly until its production problems have been resolved!
The WhaleTales Sweet & Sour Service Awards are presented every Friday on the WhaleTales blog.
