The Sweet Service Award goes to W Café inside Woolworths in the V&A Waterfront and its Manager Renee Keen, who observes me arriving for a cappuccino, and knows exactly how I like it, dry and with foam and no milk, requesting her barista to make it. She also automatically brings a glass of water. She always has a friendly smile of welcome.
The Sour Service Award goes to the City of Cape Town, for its charge of ‘bank card commission charge dr’ which is added to my rates and taxes/water/refuse/sewerage account! I pay my account at Pick ‘n Pay by credit card, and have never had to pay any supplier a credit card payment charge!
